This restaurant was located on U.S. 1 south of the Frazier Creek bridge. Originally built by the Pittman family and called the "Supreme Service Lunch Room"; on 10 May 1931, two staff and two of the Pittman family were killed when the building exploded due to improperly installed gas tanks. The Pittman family rebuilt the restaurant, with a new manager, Freddie Mae Pittman Crawford; by 1938 it was called "Fred's Lunch Room." It was sold in January 1946 to Lamuel C. Clements, former principal of Stuart High School (1938-1942) and his new wife, Eva Hayes Clements, a dietician. The business was renamed "Clement's Restaurant." Soon after, Clements sold the restaurant to Bertha and Ben Goddard, who renamed it "Goddard's Restaurant" in April 1947, adjacent to the Goddard's Sailsport Docks.
