Description
The Vagabond Book Shop was created in 1928 by Frank Collins in Los Angeles. It was built from a Reo Speed wagon and accommodated 1200 books and a small apartment. In 1929, Collins moved the vehicle to San Clemente, where Ernie Lyons managed the shop. Harry Lyons and family lived in California between April 1928 and February 1931.
