Stanley Smith picks flowers at his flower farm in the Eldorado Heights area. Grow lights positioned above the flower beds. The development of artificial lighting was an important part of the flower growing industry boom that occurred here in Martin County during the 1950s and '60s as artificial lights played a role in both stimulating and controlling flower growth.
