  • Portrait of Lt. Francis B. "Frank" Tyndall in military uniform. Born into a local pioneer family Tyndall was raised in the Sewall's Point and Jensen areas. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps to fight in World War I. While serving in the 22nd Aero Squadron, he was awarded the Silver Star and a citation for valor by General Pershing after shooting down at least four German planes during the Mihiel offensive.

    Tyndall later served as a test pilot for the military. He died during a flight from Langley Field in Virginia to Kelly Field in Texas after his plane got lost in the fog and ran out of fuel. Tyndall Field (later Tyndall Air Force Base) was named in his honor.

  • Portrait of Milton Christie. Christie worked as an editor and publisher for the Kiplinger Newsletter in Washington D. C. before retiring and moving to Sewall's Point in the 1980s. Christie was also a key supporter of the Martin County library system, serving as president of the Friends of the Blake Library organization and the founding president of the Martin County Library Association.

  • Portrait of Charles B. Arbogast. Arbogast founded the C. B. Arbogast Real Estate and Insurance agency of Stuart. He was also instrumental in securing several large tracts of land for public recreational use in Martin County including the Jensen and Stuart public beaches and land around the House of Refuge. Arbogast also contributed to the growth of Martin County as a developer and early advocate for property values in the area. Poor quality copy.

  • W. J. "Bill" Matheson with his son, Paull. Matheson established Crane Creek Ranch in Palm City in the late 1940s and also partnered in the Boutwell-Matheson Dairy. He also served on the board of directors for Martin Memorial Hospital and several other local organizations.
