  • Concrete bridge built in 1923 over the south fork of the St. Lucie River on what was the Stuart-Annie Road, then Gaines Highway. The Gaines Highway Bridge is open only to pedestrians in 2026. Also known as the Humpback Bridge.

Tyndall was promoted to First Lieutenant of the 22nd Aero Squadron and received a citation for valor by General Pershing, awarded on March 27, 1919. According to the Stuart News (12 Jun 1919), Capt. Tyndall was awarded the citation of valor for bringing down two German planes on October 29, 1918.
