Martin County courthouse, c. 1945
The old Martin County Court House, originally the Stuart School with an extensive remodeling and addition designed by architect L. Phillips Clarke in 1937, is a historic Art Deco style courthouse building located at 80 East Ocean Boulevard. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Flagler Avenue, looking south, c. 1935
Looking south on Flagler Avenue at the intersection with St. Lucie Avenue. Businesses visible include the Stuart Drug Company, Theodore Dehon & Son, the Oddity, H.C. Rue's Sweet Shop, Meggett Hardware & Paint Company (closed 1944), Postal Telegraph, and Lyric Theatre. A park is beyond the Minschke building, where the Pressel building would be built in 1940.

F.M. Walton float, 28 January 1926
In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade. Fred M. Walton was a contractor in Stuart who built the Lyric Theatre, El Bit-Lor Apartments (whose likeness is the basis for this float), and the France Apartments.

Two lane Roosevelt Bridge, c. 1945
The Roosevelt Bridge, between Stuart and Jensen Beach. Opened in 1934 to replace the 1916 bridge; remained a two lane bridge until 1964, when an addition bridge was built alongside. This bridge became the northbound lane and the new bridge the southbound lane. In 1996, when the new Roosevelt Bridge opened, this 1934/northbound lane bridge was demolished.

Seminole Bank, 1923
Built in 1912 to house the Stuart Bank (301 St. Lucie Avenue), Stuart Bank moved across the street to the Fuge Building in 1921. The Seminole Bank leased the first floor, opening 2 April 1923. Left to right: Harry M. Speedy, Arthur T. Hogarth, Ernest J. Ricou (vice president), DeWitt C. Ruff (director), John E. Taylor, Andrew R. Wallace, H. Edwin Rogers, and Roy Lane. The bank failed in 1929.

Charles E. Slocum Real Estate moved from an office shared with Reardon Insurance in the Krueger Building in 1958 to this office at the corner of Colorado Avenue and Old Dixie Highway until about 1965.
