Flower bedecked car decorated for the parade. A sign in the window: "Welcome to our Governor." In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade. Governor John Wellborn Martin attended as special guest. -

A copy of one of these images, owned by Tootsie Kindberg, has handwritten on back: "Charles Rue (as Texaco's Ed Winn of radio fame). Fire truck made by Charles Rue had wood burning stove, anchor, telephone and other things that didn't actually work. This was in the parade the day the Roosevelt Bridge opened. 1/9/34 The Fire Chief of Stuart at that time was Roscoe Bell (Russ Bell). His son, six year old Stauffer, rode in the parade with Charles Rue in this fire engine. - Charles Rue and Irving Fulton" -

Train themed float filled with children takes part in Stuart's Christmas parade as it passes by a Texaco gas station. Float sponsored by the kindergarten children of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The float won third place in the parade for 1971, which was held on Saturday December 11, 1971 and sponsored by the Junior Woman's Club of Stuart. The parade route started at the Memorial Park bandshell on East Ocean Boulevard and ended at Colorado Avenue and Kindred Boulevard. -
American Legion parade float, 1962
Stuart's Fourth of July parade float, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary (Harold Johns Unit No. 62). Three figures wear costumes inspired by revolutionary war uniforms and they play a fife and drums. The man playing the drums in the middle is Capt. Francis A. Adams.
