Christmas parade float, 1971

Description

Train themed float filled with children takes part in Stuart's Christmas parade as it passes by a Texaco gas station. Float sponsored by the kindergarten children of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The float won third place in the parade for 1971, which was held on Saturday December 11, 1971 and sponsored by the Junior Woman's Club of Stuart. The parade route started at the Memorial Park bandshell on East Ocean Boulevard and ended at Colorado Avenue and Kindred Boulevard.
