Description

Two men outside a small white building with "Rio St. Lucie water supply station" written on side, cars parked nearby. Published in the Stuart News, 25th Historical Edition (9 Nov 1950) with the caption "There is where Rio's citizens secured their water during the boom-era of the 1920s that started that area's development. This water works was ripped up by the 1925 hurricane and on this same foundation Herbert Dabinett's home now stands today in Rio."
