Description

Group portrait of Fishing Rodeo prize winners. After the fishing tournament, a reception was held at a baseball field where the winners were awarded their prizes.

The "Fishing Rodeo" was held annually from 1954 to 1967; the event was segregated and the event opened to Black children was called the "Negro Fishing Rodeo" until about 1957. In 1968, it was replaced by a county wide "Kiddie Field Day."
