Published in A Pictorial History of Palm City, Florida written by Sandra Thurlow and Jacqui Thurlow-Lippisch (p. 119) with the following caption: "Isabel Jennings and Girlie Reynolds pose on the Palm City Bridge."
The Palm City Bridge opened in 1919. It was designed by J.W. Bow and built by C.T. Dawkins Co. of Jacksonville. It was 2,600 feet long and was a bascule style drawbridge and was replaced in 1970.
