Description

Three people, Caroline Saul Smith (1886-1986); husband Maxwell B. Smith (1881-1935), nephew of Sewall's Point Capt. Henry Sewall, bond broker and former mayor of Monmouth Beach, and winter resident of Port Sewall; and Caroline's father Theodore C. Saul (1858-1941), a musician and merchant, formerly a member of the Metropolitan Opera Company orchestra and the Seventh Regiment Band of New York, and postmaster of the Port Sewall post office from its establishment on 27 Nov 1914 to 1926.
