  • Four men, William H. Leopard, Frank Sheeran, Stuart mayor John E. Taylor and an unidentified man, hold large boards with titles affixed: "At Your Service" Leopard & Sheeran, real estate, insurance, investments. Stuart Florida. Exhibited through the courtesy of A.W. France."

    Boards are pasted with photographs and newspaper articles from 1926. The display was created to be shown at Young's Million Dollar Steel Pier in Atlantic City. A.W. France, owner of the France Apartments, would display them while attending a convention of engineers there.

    William H. Leopard & Frank Sheeran formed Leopard & Sheeran in August 1926, with offices in the Peacock Arcade and on Dixie Highway in Rio.

Hartman served Martin County in various roles, including city commissioner, one of the founders of Martin County Historical Society, on the board of directors for Martin Memorial Hospital, president of Stuart Rotary Club and owner of Hartman Real Estate Co. of Stuart.
  • Studio portrait of Andrew Pittman Jr., city commissioner, owner of the Pittman Insurance Agency and a local realtor for nearly 50 years.
  • Studio portrait of real estate broker, Perry Boswell.
  • Charles Richard "Dick" Ashley came to Stuart in about 1937. He married Emma Taylor in 1939 and they had three daughters. According to his obituary in the Stuart News (29 Aug 1990) he served in the 82nd Airborne Division, receiving the Purple Heart for service during Operation Marke Garden in Holland in 1944. In 1946, he and father-in-law John E. Taylor opened Taylor-Ashley Real Estate and Insurance.
  • Ransom Ricou Tilton (1924-1995) wearing a flight helmet and a badge labeled "R.R. Tilton, 2nd Lt. USMCR." Tilton was a member of the "Black Sheep Squadron" during WWII, and a Martin County commissioner (1948-1950). He also served in the Korean War and owned the family real estate business in Jensen.
