Several men on a seaplane "Blue Bird" floating in the water.
Possibly taken in conjunction with effort of Bert and Harold Krueger to fly from New York to Florida on their seaplane "Blue Bird" on 1 October 1922. They had engine trouble which caused them to land several times, and finally wrecked off the north Florida coast near Cumberland Island. No one was hurt.
Speedboat Deterfel II at top speed in Stuart, Florida. Owner and builder Albert Paul "Bert" Krueger. In December 1926, Bert Krueger and Ted Parsons each built boats with the same outboard motor, ten feet in length, but of differing design. Boat races on the St. Lucie continued through the 1920s. This is possibly one of those races.
