Published in the Stuart News (23 March 1950, p. 9) with the caption: "Miss Dorothy Sullivan, candidate of the Stuart Lions Club, was crowned 'Miss Music of 1950' at the campaign-ending coronation party at the Stuart Civic Center Friday night. Mayor D.W. King, Jr., standing behind the seated queen, did the crowning. The queen's attendants, left to right, are Miss Delores Law, Miss Lorraine Lovell, Miss Ernestine Ricou and Mrs. Edith S. Moore, all of whom were candidates in the contest. Sixth candidate, Miss Alice Crane of Salerno, was absent."
