This water works was ripped up by the 1925 hurricane and on this same foundation Herbert Dabinett's home now stands today in Rio." -

At right on the street corners are markers announcing this is Rio Blvd. and 'Rio St. Lucie Town Site.' At left is the old Rio Lumber Company and assorted homes down the boulevard." -

A graded road, flanked by two coconut trees, probably Rio Boulevard that stretched from the Dixie Highway to the St. Lucie River. A partial legible sign includes: "For Homes & Homesite ___ and Rio St. Lucie Terrace ___H.A. Myers." The Rio St. Lucie Terace development was in 1925. Handwritten on back: Looking up Rio Blvd from the parkway lot 12, block 13.
