A man leans against a Crown Gasoline pump at a gas station, next to three little girls displaying their fine dresses while another looked on. Signs include: Autos washed and greased, Good Year Balloon Tires.
Chas. F. Dirr announced that he purchased the interest of his partner, Harry Veghte, in the firm of Veghte & Dirr in 1925 (Stuart News, 28 May 1925) -

Woman stands by small shack advertising "The Bridge. Gas, oil, bait, water, ice." Noted as being located at First Street. Possibly Merrill's Boat Dock or Payette Fishing Camp. -

Small boat with name "Murray Lourcey v125513" on side. Two men, palms alongside waterway. Noted as the boat Sylvia in Frazier Creek, Perkins Estate: "Sheppard Park?" on back. Capt. Murray Lourcey was a well-known Indian River pilot. -

View of the St. Lucie Hotel Annex being prepped for being moved. The building was at the end of St. Lucie Avenue and was moved in July 1925 to facilitate access to the river. Also visible is the Sanitary Barber Shop proprietor H.D. Bailey; Bailey sold this business in 1925. -
