One wing houses a dozen Americana "shops" brought from Salem, Mass. There is a wing of contemporary paintings and sculpture. The Gracious Living Wing is the newest addition and depicts an era from 1880 to 1910. Open daily, Admission charged." -

City Park, Stuart, Florida, c. 1935
View of City Park, which was located between Flagler Avenue and Osceola Street in downtown Stuart (where the Pressel Building, built in 1940, stands in 2023). The Park has two chickee style pavilions with wood benches and tables under them. A few people are sitting on benches and several others are playing shuffleboard. -

Exterior view of the Hotel St. Lucie, which opened with twenty-five rooms in 1913 and was later called the St. Lucie Hotel. The St. Lucie River can be seen in view behind the hotel and there is a covered side porch with several rocking chairs and hotel guests, including a few women in long dresses. There is an acetylene gas light post in foreground.
