Building on the campus of St. Joseph Novitiate College in Jensen Beach. Saint Joseph College of Florida was a college operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Florida in the former Tuckahoe Mansion starting in 1957. The college closed in 1972 and the property sold to the Florida Institute of Technology.
St. Lucie Avenue. Businesses include Stuart Post Office, Stuart Drug Co., A.T. Hogarth Real Estate & Insurance, Newnham M.D., Bailey's 5-10-25, Sanitary Barber Shop (opened 1921). The post office and the barber shop relocated in 1925; the St. Lucie Hotel annex building at the end of the street, was moved in 1925. One copy postmarked 1923.
