Palm City Ferry Landing with crowd of people waiting at the dock on the St. Lucie River in Stuart. The ferry has "Pearl H." written in black on it (perhaps by the sender). Postmarked in Palm City on September 6, 1915. Postcard sent to Mrs. Dan Allen in Kinsman, Ohio from "Alice." Published in the Stuart News, 25th Historical Edition (9 Nov 1950) -

The Blue Goose Inn opened in 1944 replacing Fuller's Bar which occupied the location previously. The business expanded over the years to include cottages for lodging (Blue Goose Court). Back caption reads "Blue Goose Court/ Stuart, Fla./ On U. S. #1 -- 15 Miles South of Ft. Pierce/ Modern Cottages, Apartments, Kitchenette available. Pleasant Vacation Spot year around.
