  • The Blue Goose Inn opened in 1944 replacing Fuller's Bar which occupied the location previously. The business expanded over the years to include cottages for lodging (Blue Goose Court). Back caption reads "Blue Goose Court/ Stuart, Fla./ On U. S. #1 -- 15 Miles South of Ft. Pierce/ Modern Cottages, Apartments, Kitchenette available. Pleasant Vacation Spot year around. Florida's finest fishing location. Bathing Beach near. Restaurant & Bar close by. Reasonable Rates, Day, Week, or Month."
