Labeled: Elinora Fredrickson about 1908. Wreck of the George Valentine. In October 1904, the Italian barkentine Georges Valentine sailed from Pensacola bound for Buenos Aires. On 16 October 1904, after hitting a storm, the ship ran aground in shallow water and wrecked off Hutchinson Island near Gilbert's Bar.

Three masted boat aground. The 750 ton schooner Martha T. Thomas, laden with lumber, was wrecked on Sept. 11, nine miles north of Jupiter in the 1903 hurricane.
