    Published in the Stuart News (28 Oct 1954) with the caption: "Members of the Stuart and Jensen Beach Lions Clubs join to prepare for a sale of light bulbs with the theme of "buy a light and save a sight." Proceeds of the sale go to the clubs sight-saving funds. Final plans will be made when they meet tonight at Bartlett Brothers store here. Making distribution preparations here are (left to right) Albert Walker, Robert J. Peck Jr., John Dumich, George Parks Jr., Howard McCormick, J.W. "Bill" Berry, Fred Orman, J.F. Bozone, and Allen Decker."

Typical Kids' Day activities include a parade with prizes, a free movie, and sale of peanuts. Signed "To Tom Thurlow with best wishes, Paul Rogers." Rogers was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida between 1955 and 1979.

Similar photo published in the Stuart News (5 Dec 1963) with caption reading "Another $50,000---Ralph Evinrude, left, chairman of the board of Outboard Marine Corporation of America, hands Roland Merrell, chairman of the $250,000 Martin Memorial Hospital Extension Drive, a certificate for $50,000 worth of preferred stock in an unnamed Wisconsin corporation. Evinrude's gift last Friday was additional to a cash donation of $60,000 made earlier, and put the drive over the $200,00 mark."
