Description
In 1948, Arthur Ruhnke purchased Ken Wright’s photography shop and its inventory, originally located at 214 Osceola Avenue in Stuart. After relocating the business to 612 Colorado Avenue, Ruhnke sold it in 1968 to Roger Thurber Conant (1916–1999). Conant operated the business as Conant Photo Shop for the next 15 years.
Roger Thurber Conant (1916–1999) was also a co-founder of the Barn Theatre and a volunteer with the Martin County Library System.
