Description
View of the Palm City bridge with the Palm Villa Hotel visible on the left. The bridge tender's house visible on the far right.. The Palm City Bridge opened in 1919. It was designed by J.W. Bow and built by C.T. Dawkins Co. of Jacksonville. It was 2,600 feet long and was a bascule style drawbridge, and was replaced in 1970.
