A boy sits in a chair on a stage holding a guitar in front of a microphone. Other photos from this collection, identify the location as J. D. Parker Elementary. According to a few Stuart News articles from the late 1960s and into the 1970s, J. D. Parker Elementary School hosted auditions for an annual variety show. Proceeds from the show benefited the Martin County Association for Retarded Citizens charity.
