Description

Lois moved to Stuart from Michigan in 1925 with her two daughters, Leila and Leona, shortly after her husband Charles H. Rue and his father had opened Rue's Sweet Shop. She was active in the PTA and the Eastern Star and was a co-founder of the local chapter of the Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
