Aerial view of the Seminole Shores resort community on the southern tip of Hutchinson Island, which opened in 1959. The heyday of the community lasted into the 1960s but by the 1970s, it was closed to the public. In the present day, the Sailfish Point development occupies the area where Seminole Shores once stood.
