Description

Houseboat is maneuvering through a narrow passage between two sets of stairs. Photo published in the February 1923 issue of Power Boating magazine (volume XXV, No. 2). Edythe Willoughby contributed an article to this issue of the magazine, titled “Cruising Northward in the Spring” about traveling in their houseboat named “Dorothy” from Miami, Florida to Newport, Rhode Island. Photo captioned in article as “Friend Houseboat entering the first lock of the Chesapeake and Delaware canal at Chesapeake City.”
