"Some of the seven thousand barrels of resin at Johnston & McNeil's Turpentine Camp, sixteen miles south of Stuart, near the great St. Lucie Control Canal. Photo made 1/3/23." Presented by the Stuart Commercial Club to the United States Government Engineers at a public hearing (16 Jan 1923) in Stuart, Florida as part of a report requesting aid for a deep water harbor.
