Description

"Interior of fruit packing plant at White City, near Stuart, Florida on the north fork of the St. Lucie River." Large building with belts and men filling boxes. Listed in FPC record book 2 (G) as "7507-20 Grapefruit in Pack House Wabasso L." Presented by the Stuart Commercial Club to the United States Government Engineers at a public hearing (16 Jan 1923) in Stuart, Florida as part of a report requesting aid for a deep water harbor.
