Ram-Jet Helicopter, 1959

Small helicopter parked in the yard of a home on East Ocean Blvd. Albert Paul "Bert" Krueger is standing to the right. Krueger acquired and taught himself to fly the Hiller YH-32 "Ram-Jet" helicopter in 1959 (Stuart News, 30 July 1959). It was destroyed during crash at the dedication of the Civil Air Patrol hangar at Witham Field in December 1959.
