Fred Walton in police hat. Labeled: 1936-1941, police cheif [sic], Stuart Police Dept.
In 1936, Walton became a patrolman in the City of Stuart and in January 1940 became the Chief of Police. After taking a leave of absence from the position for the summer and fall of 1941, he was replaced in December.
