Portrait of Stanley Kitching. Kitching was an early merchant in Stuart and served the city as both a mayor and city commissioner. He was instrumental in establishing the St. Lucie Yacht Club in 1916 and served as its first Commodore. Published in the Stuart News supplement "March of Empire : New industrial life pulses along Fort Myers - Stuart Canal," 1942.
