Description
Self portrait of Flora Frazier Dyer (1878-1937) with camera. The Frazier family moved to Martin County in 1887 when Flora was nine years old. She later married Harry Dyer and had several children. Dyer was a photographer, ran the Dyer Dry Goods Store while her husband was undergoing treatments for tuberculosis in New Mexico, and grew and sold roses commercially (her business was named Virginia Gardens).
