Large crane, using train tracks, with load of large rocks coming to or being picked up from a barge.
Published in the South Florida Developer (13 Aug 1926) with the caption: "Steady progress is being made at St. Lucie [typo omitted] in unloading rock from barges by this steam derrick and transferring it over the railroad pictured here to the ocean front where it is dumped to construct the north jetty. A crew of nearly one hundred men is engaged in this operation and work is being pushed as fast as possible."
