Gordon Parks, c. 1890

Portrait of William Gordon Parks (1869-1957). One of the six children of Benjamin Parks, who came to Stuart in 1891, he returned to North Carolina until the late 1920s, when he returned to Stuart. He served as the Stuart city park superintendent.
