Description
House near the water, home of E.J. Shattuck. Helen Saunders purchased Ruxton Plantation in 1899 and became the "Pineapple Queen of the Florida East Coast" and owned a fleet of fishing boats. After financial problems forced her to sell Ruxton, she lived in nearby empty houses, including this house.
