Description
Scene at luau party hosted by Frances Langford and Jon Hall at their Westwood home in honor of the marriage between actors Jackie Coogan and Betty Grable. Coogan and Grable married in 1937, they divorced in 1939.
Caption on back of photograph reads "Jackie Coogan proves that he had a steady hand and a steady eye by filling Shirley Ross' water glass from more than the usual pouring distance; while his wife Betty Grable looks on at the Jon Hall-Frances Langford Luau; with everything done in the traditionally Hawaiian style, with the tables set so low that it was necessary to sit on the floor."
