Description

Concrete bridge built in 1923 over the south fork of the St. Lucie River on what was the Stuart-Annie Road, then Gaines Highway. The Gaines Highway Bridge is open only to pedestrians in 2023. Also known as the Gaines Bridge or Humpback Bridge.
