Description

Studio portrait of Dr. John Powers. In addition to serving as one of a few physicians in Martin County during the 1960s, Dr. Powers also served as president of the Stuart Kiwanis Club and chief of staff at Martin Memorial Hospital. When Dr. Powers retired his medical practice, he was honored as the longest practicing physician in the county.
