Description

Several people in boats traverse Frazier Creek as they participate in the annual Boat-a-cade from Kissimmee to Okeechobee. The sixth annual Boat-a-cade was held in October of 1955 and it was the first year that Stuart hosted the final celebration and served as the weekend stop over location. Celebrations held in Stuart included a fish fry at the Stuart Civic Center, a boat show featuring the Stuart Aquabats and a dance at the Lighthouse Restaurant.
