Studio portrait of W. V. "Bill" King, who took over the Pelican Hotel in Stuart after the death of his father in 1944. King was also one of the original founders of the Stuart Sailfish Club and an active member of Stuart Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club and the Acacia Masonic Lodge in Stuart.
