Description
Bridge between Stuart and Jensen Beach and across the St. Lucie River. The Old Roosevelt Bridge opened in 1934. This bascule bridge later became the northbound lane, and a second bridge was built in 1964 as the southbound lane. When the New Roosevelt Bridge was built in 1996, the original northbound bridge was torn down.
