Description

Several people on the beach near Gilbert's Bar and the House of Refuge, looking out at the churned up ocean waters in advance of Hurricane Donna making landfall in Florida. A hurricane warning was issued for Martin County but, Hurricane Donna ended up making landfall in the Keys and again near the Ft. Myers area on September 10, 1960.
