Studio portrait of Charles D. Schilling. Schilling worked in the fishing industry, serving as the Florida representative for South Bend Bait & Tackle Company. Schilling was a noted conservationist and writer. He contributed many columns to several local and national magazines and newspapers, including the reoccurring "Outdoor" column to The Stuart News, where he also served as the outdoors editor.
