Description

Fire trucks in front of the Commodore Hotel as firefighters work to put out the blaze. Originally built on Flagler Avenue (where Stuart City Hall stands in 2024) in 1926 as the Peacock Arcade, the Commodore Hotel burned to the ground on 17 January 1959.
