Pier with small buildings and boats. Published in Sandra Thurlow's book, Stuart on the St. Lucie (p. 44), with the caption: "Stuart's first fish house, originally located on the north side of the river, was moved to the south side of the river near the railway bridge around 1900. Another fish house adjoined the Gulf Oil dock behind the George Parks store, now the Stuart Heritage Museum. This fish house stood on Porters' dock at the end of today's Colorado Avenue. -
