Photograph used in advertisement placed in the Stuart News (1 May 1958) announcing the grand opening of the First Mortgage Corp. of Stuart for which Rainey served as the director. Rainey also started Rainey Real Estate firm and assisted in raising funds for building both Martin Memorial Hospital and Elliott Museum on Hutchinson Island.
Dennis S. Hudson Sr. Hudson founded the Citizens Bank of Stuart in 1933 and served as its president. The Citizens Bank of Stuart later became the First National Bank of Stuart and eventually Seacoast Bank.
Dennis Sherwood "Corky" Hudson Jr. (1928-2020) was chairman and CEO of Seacoast Bank in Stuart from 1969 to 1992. He was also the chairman of the American Red Cross and president of the Rotary Club.
