Megrath, who was the director of the Hobe Sound USO between 1943 and April 1944, then took over the Umbrella Canteen in Jupiter; he died in October 1944.

  • Radie Belle Bruner Krueger (1910–1997) managed the Servicemen's Club during WWII. She and her husband owned a florist shop. After his death in 1959, she continued as a successful floral artist.
